Humble beginnings. Ruby didn't officially get her name until the new colors, white and red were decided on. But here she is, in all her former glory. Maybe the original owners were Packers fans, which is what I would like to think, or maybe they just chose the cheapest colors of paint. With all due respect to the previous owners, after beginning to sand down the paint, it was clear that there were 3 layers of previous paint to cover up, so caking it on seemed necessary I'm sure.
The inside had vinyl floors, diamond plated metal backsplash, and antler light, and a whole bunch of trim.
Fortunately, the electric was all done and the cabinets were in really good shape so Ruby had some aspects really going for her.
